Had another bowl of potpourri, which doesn't sound cool enough. Henceforth, I shall call it my Motley Brew. Tonight's blend included Latakia, Kentucky Dark Fired Burley, Flue Cured (regular) Burley, Light Virginias, Dark Virginias, Perique, Turkish, Light Cavendish, Dark Cavendish, Black Cavendish, and some vanilla and cherry flavoring. Even if Virginias and all the Cavendish just count as two, that's 7 tobaccos. Folks...it wasn't bad. Tonight's victim was a seldom smoked Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade, whose silver needs cleaning. Don't judge me. What wasn't great was our smoking conditions...

@The Clay King the only clay i've put in service so far. i've dropped a briar a time or two and thankfully landed bowl down not stem down. If I only smoked a clay I'm sure I'd be a half-dozen in by now for sure! As a smoking tool, dollar per puff, totally under-rated! puffy
@Scottmi I got into clays by seeing historical re-enactors smoking them. I bought my first in 2018 from Chesterfield flea market. I've lost count of how many clays I've broken:)

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Tomato the Brave and Sleepy Suzy have changed places on my lap twice. I was going to read, but Suzy sat on my book, and demanded some attention.
