Enjoying a bowl of Firebird Flake after moving a rock from the woods to the front yard. I’ve had my eye on this rock for a couple years.

It now resides along the driveway in the front yard until further notice.
Can't help but ask: What is it about this particular rock that caught and kept your fancy?

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching a Durango Kid western.

First try of C&D Burley Flake #1 in my new (to me) GBD Speciale Stacked Dublin, which arrived today from @ssjones

This is my first try of any Burley flake. It has a very pleasant aroma and flavor, with some definite tingle on the palate and in the nose. Not a flavor bomb, but tasty. Really develops nicely by the second half of the bowl.
