Another beautiful 🌧 day here in SoCal. Commute was a sea of red lights but I left with enough time. I was feeling a little spicy this morning so on today's menu was C&D's Poplar Camp in my Sav paired with a nice black coffee. It was my first time trying this blend, and as a big fan of Bayou Morning, it did not disappoint! Think I'll be grabbing a pound soon

After breakfast bowl for today is KBV Uzumaki in a chunky Carlo Scotti-era Castello Sea Rock G. 
Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.
My driving around smoke for the day will be Ken Byron Ventures Burley Morning Pipe in a cob.
I didn't care for this when I bought it a few years ago, but after some time, the toppings have toned down and now it is reminiscent of Carter Hall or Prince Albert. Very light all day smoke, and the burleys really come through without a lot of added flavoring.
Edit to add: I will also say, these bags that Ken Byron uses are phenomenal. I bought this in 2020, and nearly 5 years later it is still at the perfect moisture. I wish more companies would use these for bulk stuff.

Good morning on the First Friday of Flaketastic February! Peretti Ampersand Flake in my Briarworks 10th Anniversary Blasted Zulu, with coffee. No red visibile on the thermometer, hiding like a little wuss somewhere below 30F.

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Abner the Eager came to me while I was walking, and is eating now. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' on the lawn mower chair. Tomato the Brave ate, and left. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' by my feet.
