Very nice pipe. Lemme guess...owner/artist is a burly guy in Gatlinburg, TN? And if he's around my age, like me he probably meets the 5 Bs of rural southern guy middle age: Bald, Beard, B-cup man boobs, and Beer Belly.

Sleep didn't work out, so I'm in the den and smoking pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Second bowl of the day is my newest addition, a Dunhill I bought from Shae at Vintage Pipes. Great guy with a great collection. He provided me a sample of some aged Mac Baren Club Blend, which is what we’re rolling with for the maiden smoke.

Noticed a crack on the shank of my Dr. Grabow Royalton Bulldog. Sad. However, given that it is the last of an era, I'll send it off to Briarville for repair - otherwise I'd of tossed it. Either a nickel band or some other solution will be sought. The suction on the pipe is in no way affected. Smoking Firebird. Oh, the calamity of it all.
