Yesterday went for an early chilly walk with some Captain Earl’s Private Stock in a cob, then before bed smoked some more Steamworks in my Bringham made Old Port pot. Tonight some HHBF in a Barling poker. February is a dry month for me, so herbal tea it is.

Enjoyed a light low calorie snack, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy medium bend 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Smokes as well as a first and worth the $19.95 I paid for it all those years ago. Watching the debut episode of My Three Sons with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly Danger is with m'lady.

Had one of my own "pot pourri mix" bowls in the buffalo calabash. I load pipes over my drying tray, and what collects every 15 or so bowls lets me get a bowl out of it. So I had C&D Eight State Burley, SPC Plum Pudding Bourbon, BW Pete's Beard's Blend, Saturday Down South, Country Lawyer, and Bacon Old Fashioned, Sutliffe Black Cherry, Cobblestone Black Coffee, and Borkum Riff Bourbon.
Just finished a little bit of Borkum Riff Vanilla in the Briarworks small rusticated bent apple, with orange brindle stem. I've smoked that blend a little here and a little there, since my work partner passed back in 2016, and left me his pipe and tobacco. I've only now gotten 2 lbs. of it (he was only an occasional smoker, and that's ALL he'd ever smoke) down to what's in that jar. I'm not a big aromatic guy any longer, but I'm trying to smoke up much of what I cellared for years and didn't touch, by having an aromatic every third or fourth bowl. I like variety, so I'm actually enjoying it, as a change of pace.

Dang. I was hoping you were gonna tell us his name was maurice and attach a link to video of him doing tricks for treats. Turns out you told him to "stay" long ago, and he's been behaving ever since.The mystery duck is an American Widgeon.
The feet are grayish- black. It’s an older mount. On closer look, it needs dusting too

Passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager.

Part way through this bowl of year 2014 FVF in a straight smooth dark brown 1896 W.H. Newman, Ltd. billiard with a sterling silver band and a tapered yellow and orange stem with white swirls and an orific bit.
Currently smoking my Missouri Meerschaum- Rob Roy Legend with some Cornell and Diehl - Briar Fox.
Smoking 2017 Skiff. Such an excellent blend. The new Skiff is good too, but it doesn’t compare to the older iterations.
