It's been a double extra busy evening. Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2019 C&D Derringer in a smooth brown-orange undated Mastro de Paya 3A L Tulip with a silver cap military mount and an acrylic yellow tapered stem.

Next was a bowl of year 2012 Dunhill Royal Yacht in a 1970s smooth brown slight bend GBD International 9665 dublin rough top sitter with a flat bottom and a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Then, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 FVF in a straight smooth dark brown 1896 W.H. Newman, Ltd. billiard with a sterling silver band and a tapered yellow and orange stem with white swirls and an orific bit.

After that, I had a bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.

Currently, I'm half way through this bowl of year 2012 Dan Tobacco Treasures of Ireland: Limerick in a straight smooth dark brown year 1912 Hall & Fitzgerald cased HFB billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem and orific bit.

Week 2 of hernia lockdown. Going well. Swelling way down and back to where I was before the lockdown. Been doing a lot of smoking and got some projects going. If you remember, my convalescence set-up was a bunch of miniatures to work on slow smoking, ensconced in the little den/bedroom on the main floor.

So for the next week, I'll be smoking these pipes, and about eight others - it's 3 month cleanout time, and for about the next week or so, I'll be smoking only Smokers' Pride Whiskey and/or Smokers' Pride Classic, two blends I really like and that are fairly fast burning, medium hot codger burley heavy aros - perfect for breaking in and cleaning out (resetting?) pipes that need it, especially those biased for gooey, messy tobaccos like some aromatics and all lats. And I have about a bag and a half each of these, and they're available here for a bargain price of $70 bucks a bag from the Native Reserve Store, God Bless'm.

Won't be posting all the smokes cuz this hopefully about says it all, eh?

Going to brave the indoor range today - not terribly taxing because I have a walker (or more likely a cane cuz I feel pretty good) and great friends that'll carry the heavy stuff for me. Will report on that later, and other current projects I'm doing that may be of interest to some of you.

Excited about the indoor shooting today, because with Alpha pistol last week I shot the best groups i've ever shot with a pistol, iron sights at 10 yards, all ten shots within the 8 ring, 5 times. For me, a personal best and even got a few nods from my betters. Then, I proceeded to outshoot myself on moving targets, wwaaaaayyyy better with the pistol than my rifle. Not unexpected because I simply don't shoot rifles at moving targets or game. And my target springer weighs 18+ pounds. Cheers 'till tonight!

FVF in a Scottie Apple. There is a time and a place for small chambers sizes. Sometimes my smokes just sing out of them.

Love that pencil shank and silver work! 👍

Bills and insurance papers at the ready. And a pipe to get me through it. KBV Spaghetti Western in a Kevin Arthur nose warmer, so i can be in hands free mode.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2015 Mac Baren Virginia #1 in a pre-1923 smooth dark brown early Comoy’s Prior (Gros, Grenier, Ostero & Cie.) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Currently, I'm just finishing this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Virginia Jazz in a smooth medium brown medium bend 1950s B.B.B. Own Make 307 apple with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite saddle stem. Haven't smoked either pipe in a while.

I had to run an errand, and when I got back home, Tomato the Brave was running through this snow crying out to me. He shook the snow off, ran to the back door, and ran in to eat and get warm as fast as he knew how, silly fella.

If you stick to those twists you may want nothing but. Enjoy your smoke friend.
Oh I like ‘em a lot. I think the new (to our market at least) Aniseed Twist could be a daily. I try to keep Black X, Sweet Black Cherry, Brown Bogie, SG Black XX, And Maple on hand. Cutting them with SG Kendal Plug/BBF makes a wonderful smoke to mix things up.

So far my WAYS day has been Match Victorian in Briarlee, and my Dark Sails mix and now Mc Connell Scottish Cake in a Ropp J07.
Feeling like crap but surviving on Sudafed…
