Yay! I'm back! My last eye recheck went well. I can now smoke my pipes again. And drive again. My first smoke after far too long is my first ever burn of Ennerdale, courtesy of a kind forum member, @FurCoat. Thank you very much sir! My initial impression is, I like it. Really pleasant tin(bag) note and room note. No tongue burn. I think i need to let it dry longer. Or find a blacksmith with a spare ember! 😀 It's only my first time with this tobacco of renown, but so far, it's favorable. View attachment 290010

Good Morning! Match Victorian salted with cubes of Salty Dogs in my birthyear Shell. And coffee. Thank you @Sigmund for suggesting mixing a VaPer with Salty Dogs--it is REALLY good!

P.S. Happy International Pipe Smoking Day! I asked ChatGPT about the origin of this celebrated day:
"International Pipe Smoking Day (IPSD) is an annual event celebrated by pipe smokers worldwide, typically observed on February 20th. It was first promoted by online pipe communities, although the specific originator is not definitively documented. The date was chosen in homage to Sherlock Holmes, a fictional character known for his pipe smoking and whose birthday is believed to be on February 20th. While there might not be a single earliest dated reference, IPSD gained recognition through various online forums and publications like PipesMagazine.com, PipeSmokersForum.com, and others dedicated to pipe smoking, with discussions and announcements about the day dating back to the mid-2000s."
