Salty Dogs, which I keep thinking of as Shady Grove, which is a Quicksilver Mesenger Service album, as opposed to A Salty Dog which is a Procol Harum album from the same year, but I don't think of the tobacco as Procol Harum.

In a meer.

Sunny, cool afternoon invites me out to the leeward side of the patio to enjoy some Earl Gray tea and one of my new “favorite” VaPer baccy s- KBV Acadian Flek. Just got an order a few days ago with 4 more ounces of it along with some KBV, Brown Flek.
Grabbed this handsome 2022 Boswell Canadian with beautiful grain and oval shank.

IMG_3355.jpegIMG_3357.jpeg3rd bowl of Pegasus out of the Tekin today.

I wanted mushrooms with dinner so I went out to forage and brought a briar with me in case my hands got too dirty for my meer. Amazingly, my hands stayed pretty clean so I fired up the meer when I was done. I found about 4 lbs of winter chantrelles.

Watching UFC Fight Night. Going to have Cornell & Diehl Small Batch Folklore (2022, 805/1000) in an unbranded, unmarked, Magnum-sized Swan Neck LC (Large Curve) with a horn stem with an orific bit; this pipe is most likely French in origin, and may be from the late 19th or early 20th Century—it is curve drilled, has a bone tenon, and a cork mortise.
