A quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Did a set of walking reps with the last smoke, and I'm currently smoking Watch City SEPC McClouxgaroux 2023 in a 1920s-30s Grant’s Pipe Shop Corinthian Deluxe 409 (made by Comoy’s) smooth brown medium bend bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This is Rouxgaroux made with vintage McClelland tobaccos.

WTF! It's the dead of winter in Chicago and the thermometer says 60°! I grabbed my Markus Fohr clay and a pinch of McClelland Anniversary 2004 and went out to the patio for a quick smoke.
I enjoyed a nice half hour, bolstered by a wee bit of The Macallan 12. Gotta take advantage of these moments because, in this town, it could snow tomorrow.

Good morning all. Out and about shifting and checking cattle/water/feed and I stopped to move these little yearling calves. I was smoking some Star of the East Flake in a cob and the audience seems to like Latakia 
Pulled out some 2 year old Simply Red to celebrate the new pound I have incoming. It is GLORIOUS (in my Pfeifen Huber 2024 Nobleman).

Lane 1-Q in the Peterson Pub pipe - the final third of bowl from yesterday. Later, Sutliffe 507-C in the vauen bent egg. The Pub pipe continues to amaze me 10 bowls in ... its different from any other pipe I own even others of similar shape. Its always smooth and sweet and steady. Definitely a sipping pipe ... it almost refuses to smoke any faster. Today I was admiring the sandblast on it as well in the sun.
