Got as much work done outside before the rain started. I have retreated to the tool shed/wood shop. I’m going through a bunch of cedar shafts and marking the “spine” for different poundage bows. Next measure weight in grams.

My traditional inclinations led me to an exercise in frustration with port orford cedar, a couple years ago. To group them by spine and weight like this would have required many more shafts than I had to work with, and my shooting turned south quickly. I went back to imitation woodgrain carbons. Someday when I have more time, patience, and shafts, I'll give woodies a try again!

This is my first time smoking this tobacco. very dry - strange, strong, burns quickly, cigar notes creep through.

The small pipe fits well, but probably hides some of the smells and tastes.

Missed out on my mandated two smokes/day of my meer yesterday so starting the day off with it so I can squeeze in four. Wouldn't want to fail to keep a commitment I had made to myself for the very first time in my life.

Been feeling a bit rough today so I’ve not smoked much, some 23 Cringle with my coffee this morning, some Dark Annie ll while walking WeeBay and Druquer Trafalgar in the Astley’s on our second walk. I’m just about to make dinner and contemplating something mild like Tilbury or Gold Block while it’s cooking, in a Kaywoodie Straight Grain.
