Woke up, couldn't sleep, called a friend, and smoked a bowl of D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth dark brown late 1890s, early 1900s WDC bulldog with silver bands around the ridges, a decorative sterling silver band and tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit. Going to try to sleep again.

Sutliff Cherry Bon Bon in my Benton Select 1/2 bent smooth bulldog. I got 4 oz to sample along with my most recent tobacco order. I must say that the first bowl has been easy smoking. Quite smooth and tastes of a nice burley with what I assume is a topping rather than a casing of very light cherry flavor. No tongue bite whatsoever. I bought it in hopes of engendering a positive response from the audience.

Out adventuring with the blue dog. I’ve found that I also like a nose warmer style pipe. As long as it’s not particularly heavy. This one is a cheap eBay find. I believe I’ll find a few more of the same weight and length. As for the tobacco…I can’t make up my mind on it. Some days it hits the spot, others….meh. Smoke it if you’ve got it I suppose. Good day, folks!21137D8B-828F-4A1D-A44C-A12FE7B9832F.jpeg
