Relaxing after a wonderful salad, orange roughy and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm back on the diet and the Group W bench until I lose what I gained from yesterday's food massacre. :) Nearing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

I’ve had a jar of ‘21 PS Luxury Twist Flake staring at me everytime I open my cellar. I may have smoked some of this early on in my pipe career, but don’t recall anything other than, leave this a while. Anyway, popped the lid on the jar and Wow, what an aromatic bomb. Obviously topped with something. Maybe my gateway to Aro’s?? Smoking in my forever keeper Butz Choquin Colour Grain. Bought this pipe in Miami…and if you’ve been to Miami, you’ll know what a challenge it is to buy anything non-cigar related. Drinking an over sized Negroni in a supporting role.

I have some from that vintage. It’s gone very dark with tiny sugar crystals. Huge difference between this and the 2018 I also am smoking. Is yours the same?
