That sounds like a good combo...I'm going to have to try some Rustica with my Burley Flakes (1,2, and 3).

Tonight MB Navy Flake mixed with Salty Dogs in the Georg Jensen Admiral. Have to say, this mix is NOT working for me. Like they are fighting and biting. Guess you shouldn't put the merchant seamen in with the navy sailors?

I tried D&R Three Sails again the Vauen Olaf bent egg. I read the tobacco reviews and this time, twisted it into the bowl and packed tighter and slow sipped it. It does make a difference. Its a wonderful virginia and very, very flavorful that way (bread, citrus, tangy sweet). It is however, very strong for me in a full size pipe. I suspect I will relegate it to the Peterson 302 and 999, the smaller bowls of which I think are better suited for a shag cut tobacco.
