Now Smoking: 50% Hearth & Home's Louisiana Red ribbon-cut, boosted with 50% Sutliff TS-20 Perique granulated, in my dedicated Yello-Bole Standard 8-Panel Brylon Tester/Beater-Pipe.

I claim absolutely zero inventiveness on this Oh-So-Satisfying experiment, as all I did was amp-up the already included Perique level to better match my personal interpretation of the catalog description of this well-loved Russ Ouellette dual Red Virginia VaPer, and that of my notoriously Nicotine and Perique-hungry palate.

My test results are best summed-up with this question of you, my dear Brothers-of-the-Briar:

Have you ever found yourself smoking a bowl in the utter stillness and quiet of 4am, when no one else is home or they are fast asleep; and, you are exclusively in deep, deep commune with your pipe... You, your pipe, the gently glowing fireplace, and the magnificent blend you are smoking is all that exists; and, for the moment, the world could not seem to be more perfect - feeling that you have effortlessly caught the elusive tabak muse as you sip you pipe?

I can only hope this feeling lasts through the up-coming re-load. - Sherm Natman

Fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, and I snacked on a few unsalted peanuts. I'm passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown post-1964 Parker Super Bruyere 88/F group 3 bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I may end the day with this smoke.

MM Emerald Country Gentleman stuffed with Country Squire Old Toby.
A very pleasant smoke! I bought the CS Middle Earth sampler back in 2020 but havn't gotten around to smoking them. I decided to try them all over the next couple of weeks and thought it most fitting to start with Old Toby.

I only wish I was good at blowing smoke rings! puffy
Yeah smoke rings or squares, triangles. Is anyone out there gotten diving deeper in the science of blowing smoke rings?

Smoked some SWR and a bunch of my home blend. The SRW Original I had stuffed pouch and all in a jar a couple of years ago. Trying it for the first time, I like it a lot! Pretty mild though but maybe I'm branching out this year.

What do you think of this weird looking Musicò I decided to buy today? I've never quite seen a pipe with such a disjointed looking bowl. I love it!
