Why do I always call this a lovat?? I think it’s cause I need a sea rock lovat in my collection

This 2022 cringle flake is definitely better than when I first opened it. It’s been sitting in the tin for a couple months and has mellowed out quite a bit. I traded away my other tins to a homie on the forum and while I certainly don’t regret it, I’m enjoying what’s left of this open tin.
Just fed the ferals, and finished this bowl of Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Now smoking Wilke 10 Downing Street in a quarter bend smooth dark brown small bowl 2016 Brigham Algonquin 226 Rhodesian with a long black vulcanite tapered stem.
A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
KBV Mycroft in a Radice Rind, last smoke of the day.

Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.
I've been smoking my Tsuge kiseru a lot,
tasting different blends: a freshly opened tin of McClelland Tudor Castle from 2017, some straight granulated perique, my home blend, McClelland 40th straight up, and with some granulated perique added to it, and just now, some Brown Twist Sliced, because @Briar Lee reminded me of it. I'm nic'd up ok.
It's too cold outside to smoke or even walk my dogs this week. (They're too wimpy below -15C and they won't wear booties. I see other dogs with them on, but my Puggle especially will have none of it. Ever seen a dog try to walk without letting his paws touch the ground?) I've managed to smoke a bit in the basement with a window fan going and my wife hasn't complained so, that's good. Happy Mardi Gras!

Just finished smoking D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem.

Now smoking year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Currently smoking a bowl of Newminster 400 Superior Navy Flake in a Savinelli Roma 673KS. Columbian Oolong Tea is my drink.

Irish Cask in a cob. That’s such a nice Va/Per blend with a finishing hint of a sherry barrel. Every day smoke.
Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. That'll do it for me today.
