Enjoyable morning smoke of Peterson's Standard Mixture paired with a petite 1919 A. Friedlander 'F' Brand bent billiard. Trusty Rodgers of Sheffield pipe tool and vintage 1950's Nimrod Commander pipe lighter accompanying.

While not a "sexy" or trendy blend, I really do enjoy Standard Mixture -- it makes a great all-day English, is readily available nearly everywhere, and is priced very reasonably per tin. There is a reason it has been around as long as it has, and it will likely still be here long after most of the "flavor of the minute" blends are dead and buried...

Mid morning smoke. I throw all the leftover tobacco that I’ve dried out and didn’t quite fit in the pipe into a jar. I lose track of what’s in the jar but, when it looks like there’s a pipe full in there, I smoke it.
I know this has a little bit of 2022 Cringle, MB London Blend, other burley and I think an English. Smells very inviting.
And, it’s actually quite tasty.
