The Virginia navy flakes with a pinch of black cavendish taste great but they're overpowering my lungs making me cough. Definitely a sipper sort of smoke. Moving on to the Killarney mix. I call it micro blending. :) Opening a fresh Red Diamond. If this doesn't work I'll probably just smoke an aromatic and call it a night?

C&D Old Joe Krantz original (Elderly Joseph) in a Jerry Perry straight tapered panel billiard, smooth with a rusticated panel on the back of the bowl for a tactile flourish. One of my favorite C&D English burley blends, after buckwheat pancakes made from scratch by my wife served with maple syrup, all of which I inhaled in about seven minutes, including seconds. Ah. i did the dishes. Water and bergs are my beverage.

The 1st bowl of well-rubbed out SG St James Flake smoked to the end with no relights.
Moreover the full bent Castello full bent Shape 93 passed a cleaner fully with minimal jiggling, so the drilling was impressive. Peterson - please take note.

A 2nd bowl of MacBaren HH Arcadian Perique - another Perique blend.
In another Italian pipe - a Savinelli Silver Shape 616 KSimage.jpg

An old square tin of Dunhill Flake I've had in a jar for a couple years and occasionally crack open and enjoy. Lighting it up in my Peterson army mount 120 Dublin. I generally enjoy more red or stoved VA, but a light flake with some age on it can be a wonderful thing.
