I almost chewed a small hole in it a few years ago. Sent it to Briarville and had it filled. Started again to "dent" it , so I put the friction tape on it as I would hate to have the stem replaced. (for now)...

Now smoking year 2013 Capstan Blue in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

No pipes yesterday morning. After work, Sutliff 507-C Slices in a small Grabow Billiard and Peterson's Elizabethan Mixture in a large Rossi Billiard. Both pretty meh. Goodnight smoke of Cockstrong in an unfinished Savinelli was the most satisfactory and even that was merely ok. Ah well. Try again tomorrow.
