First ever smoke of Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls in a Georg Jensen bent brandy. Tin is around 2.5 years old and this is one of the smoother blends I've ever tried. Pretty fantastic stuff. This the first coin I've ever smoked and i dig it. I might have to go back to the shop I got it from and see if they have any more, as these were already 2 years old when I bought them.

Ahhhh. Hump day. Busting out a sample of 2017 Dunbar in the Bullfrog Gumnut. Both courtesy of an upstanding fellow forum member. I’ve been getting nipped a little from some VA blends recently. older Dunbar has been way mellow but maybe not as flavorful?? I’ve got some work to do on my VA smokingB97AD4AE-95FB-4424-9844-ABDE6F1BB53F.jpeg

As far as I can gather the walnut stain started in the 1920s and appears to have been most popular during that decade and into the 1930s.
A few examples from said decade
