The Boise Pipe Club moved their meeting from Thursday night to today for IPSD. My first time being able to attend.
I had a great time meeting some local pipe smokers.
Smoked my mix of 75% Boswell’s Best Arro and 25% C&D Latakia in a House of Robertson Billiard.
I won the drawing for a tin of Balkan Sobranie!
Anyone know how to read date codes on these tins?

Unless the design was different for export it's not a tin from the 1970s or 1980s which looks like this

Going to have Granger in a GBD Colossus Ebony Straight Pot with Perspex stem. This pipe may sport the largest chamber I have, approximately 1.125"w x 1.75"d.

For the largest chambers - which are so large they're just plain silly - look to the cadger clays ...

... which - compared to a regular size clay pipe - some have bowls of over 3 inches in height and 2 inches in diameter

For large bowls there's also some of the Ropp cherrywoods which have the appearance of shillelaghs and could almost be used as offensive weapons ...
For example, the Ropp Bussang (next to a largish regular size pipe - a GBD Prehistoric)

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, barramundi and sugar snap peas dinner with a small scoop of chocolate ice creams for dessert. I'm just finishing this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

@virkia I'd like to fill one of those large cadger clay pipes and see how long it takes to smoke it all!!!

Pegasus in a Georg Jensen bent brandy. I have three or four jars of various tobacco that are just about empty. Thinking about digging into my "cellar" and popping some tins that I haven't tried yet to get out of the rut of smoking the same couple things over and over again for months or years at a time.
