Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have about a quarter of a bowl left of year 2015 Seattle Pipe Club Deception Pass in a smooth straight brown late 1930s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow Deluxe Bruyere 9703B pot with a nickel accent and a black tapered vulcanite stem.

Have been wanting a block meerschaum, but with my limited income, (retired on soc sec), it seemed unlikely. Finally found a little 5 incher. Nothing fancy, but I'm excited! It came today. First smoke, Capstan Blue.

C&D Three Friars in a blasted meerschaum lined fat apple Falcon(Genoa?). Black coffee. This blend is about 2 years old and wonderful. Glad I just bought another 5 lbs! Happy Valentines Day!

An economical solution might be a Falcon with a block meerschaum bowl. All the benefits without the big investment. I’m expecting a squat apple bowl from Star today actually. Adem in Turkey was a big help when I ordered about 2 weeks ago. Off to my P0 box shortly.
