Tried them both recently myself. 3P’s is out of this world delicious to my taste and Capstan Blue is good in a dry white wine kind of way. I hope that you enjoy them both.Got some new stuff to me. Peterson 3P’s, Capstan blue label and prob open another tin of squadron leader, them 3-4 more bowls or who knows what.
Started the day with my F&T The Clay Shape Pipe loaded with one year old, cubed FVF. This stuff is superb with some age.
Now on to SG 1792 Flake in a $3.00 cob that I bought in 7-Eleven. The topping on the blend is so strong that it ghosted the glass tray that I dried it on. I’ve never had that happen before. I was apprehensive about smoking this because of strength of the flavoring, but I’m about mid-bowl now and I have to say that I can see the appeal. Delicious! Not an all day smoke by my measure, but at the right time and day, I can see myself reaching for this.

This one's a keeper. Nice balance, with the strong oriental spice matching the latakia. The Kentucky forming a solid base for everything. A touch of sweetness. Through a grand match chacom billiard.

Part way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2019 black rusticated Peterson 312 full bend billiard with a military mount and a nickel cap with a cumberland 4AB stem and a N.A.P. bit.
Match Dunhill 965 in a 1961 Dunhill Tanshell #104 Billiard Group 4.
Burley London Blend ghosts the plate i dry it on haha. It will fade eventually.

Smoking some Cap'n Boomer in an Eltang Basic. 43 degrees out and feels like summer vacation after a couple weeks in the teens!

GLP Gaslight in a pre-Cadogan GBD Special #1352 1/2 Bent Apple with a round stem.
Enjoyed a terrific pancakes, eggs and hash browns lunch with orange slices chipping in to fill up my belly on an off diet day. Now smoking Motzek M74 in a late 50s, early 60s Comoy’s straight smooth dark brown Deluxe 20 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a black vulcanite tapered stem. A good blend and a wonderful pipe. A cup of hot tea is my drink.
