I’ve got the same pipe, still new in the box and unsmoked, and I can’t figure out what to smoke in it. I want it to be a single blend pipe, but haven’t found “the one” just yet. How does it smoke?

I smoked an old clay pipe filled with a mixture of McClelland's 5100 and some nearly 60 year old Perique, during our Chicago Buds ZOOM meeting, earlier this evening.
I bought the Perique in the 1960s, at the old Cellini Pipe Shop in Chicago. I've kept it "alive" with Boveda packs. It's lost a bit of its punch, but it married well with the 5100, and tasted quite lovely and mellow.

Goodnight smoke is Presbyterian in my new Rossi 8122. Nice pipe but the pre-coating is modifying the flavors I'm getting, and not in a desirable way. Going to have to smoke this through to the sweet spot asap.
