Both. I like Peterson pipes, straight or bent. Of course, I like other pipes from other companies, too, but that particular Peterson is really good smoker.Hi Jim,
Is that largely due to the fact it's a Peterson , or is it just that pipe . I am looking into Peterson because I like bent pipes in the hand .
I just got some of the peaty kentucky the other day and a couple to age. How good is the humidor? Should I leave them wrapped or transfer to mason jar?Stokebye 4th Generation Peaty Kentucky after soaking in Glenmorangie Scotch for two hours and drying it.Not bad,but View attachment 64699no repeat.?In a Ryan Alden billiard.
For the smaller discs that make up THREE NUNS and even the various Mac Baren spun cut blends it shouldn't be a problem leaving them intact in a pipe with a smaller bowl but for wider discs such as Dunhill/Peterson's NAVY ROLLS or Davidoff's FLAKE MEDALLIONS I'd rather use a wider bowl than crumble the discs into a smaller bowl although I always crumble the final disc on top.I don’t understand this. Wouldn’t stacked coins in pipe be too dense to burn? Also moist coins are wider then most of my pipes. Does this mean loosely crumple the coins “cannonball” ish and stack them?
