I’ve been on an OTC kick lately, smoking one blend or another exclusively for entire off-stretches. Would’ve made for some redundant posting here.

This morning, while watching the cartoon show on MeTV, I cracked into a recently acquired tub I picked up due to piqued interest inspired by discussions at these forums ...

Last time I got this was 25-30 years ago. It was a decent fly-fishing smoke, but at the time I wasn’t inspired to get any more after finishing that first tub.

I love the tub note! Though I usually leave a scoop of smoke out to dry before loading, I wanted to try this out right out of the tub as is for the reintroduction. I’m liking Granger even more this time around. Mild and mellow, though with a pleasing kick when choking the chamber to stoke up the ember. This stretch of days off, I may end up smoking this mostly.

I may have to pick up a few spare tubs.

(The Stanwell Vario 86 is serving pipe-of-the-day duty.)
