A couple of firsts today. My Fires on the Levee arrived yesterday, but I didn't have time for a pipe. I'm having my first bowl of that in a new sandblasted Pete B42 System Standard. This is the pipe I ordered a little more than a month ago with the Wintertime Reserve Watson. It seemed like too big a bowl for the Watson, so I've waited for something calling for this pipe. Its smoking FOTL perfectly. This is a really tasty blend!

Just finished smoking year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Sleepy Suzy has been very demanding our attention today. She's gone back and forth between my chair and m'lady's chair, and has finally settled on being with me. She bathing my left arm now.

Quite a fitting tribute to your father.
Keep the legacy alive.

Thank you, @tartanphantom . I remember when he would come home from work, open the paper and smoke his pipes. Quit probably in the mid-70s when I was still a kid. Remember it fondly. Merry Christmas!
