Good morning! Coffee, burley, cob. The wonderful aroma of holiday baking is among my blessings this morning! The evocative smells of freshly baked Christmas cookies transports me to another time. I almost expect to find my mother and grandmother in the kitchen. I feel close to them. I know they are smiling when I sneak a spoon of cookie batter. My beautiful wife pretends to scold me. I’m eight years old again. Does life get better than this?

Half way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a smooth brown full bend 1984 Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, and after he did and thanked me, went wild around the house. Anything that moved and something that didn't, but he thought was there, he chased around and around the house. The only thing he caught was his breath.
