Pee Dee in this Don Carlos. Iced tea. Busy and fun day putting together bicycles, swing sets, basketball goals and all manor of Santa Claus goodies. We put together over 100 bicycles this morning! Other volunteers will get all the goodies delivered on Christmas Eve.

Hey Bob. Seeing that tin of Pee Dee reminds me that I have smoked mine up. I think you've flung a cravin' on me so I'll need to order more.

Now smoking and reviewing from a freshly opened tin of year 2025 STG Virginia No. 1 in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

just popping in to thank y'all for the beautiful pipe porn. I was admitted in Seattle for a new treatment protocol, which was planned months ago. So not at all a surprise, nor emergency - though it is quite extensive. The trip to Texas was for results needed to be able to qualify for this current treatment. I haven't had a smoke in a few days and won't for some time yet, but in the meantime i'll be leaning on the fine fellow enthusiasts of the leaf here by sojourning along with you through your pictures, words and daily experiences just the same as often as possible. All is well and - rest assured - i'll be back to posting as soon as i'm back to smokin'.

For now, i'll leave y'all with a pic of the last pipe i had just before admitting. It was a nice bowl of Krater-Plug in one of my all-time favorites: a commission piece from Ahmet Govem.

And to accompany it, a Haiku i had written for such a time as this:

Transcendent thoughts;
The chaos of life abides.
Listen: barking dogs!

Like a wise man once told me, "Don't sweat the small stuff...and it's all small stuff," this little ditty is in that same spirit, chalking it all up to noise. In other words, we'll all find out in the end that whatever life threw at us was essentially all bark and no bite, regardless of what we thought about it at the time.

In any event, take care my friends and i'll be in touch soon...
