HB in a Savinelli Cumberland 806. I just popped this can open and the first bowl is never that great, give it a month and it'll be smoking perfect. I bought a couple 8oz cans and I'm going to continue to just stock pile this to Age and keep cellered. So eventually I'll just be smoking on properly couple year old aged Haunted Bookshop. And I'll also have just years of smoke saved up. That's the goal anyway. Haunted Bookshop is just about all I really like to smoke. There are a few others I enjoy a lot too but HB is definitely my go to everyday smoke.
I have to agree on the Haunted Bookshop. I also like OJK but HB is 2 Euros a tin cheaper. I bought 8oz. Back from our US trip and went through it quickly, was the same with Pegasus. We have a limited selection here and only 2oz.tins.

It's a good little shape that I have come to really appreciate. The 608 is smaller than the 606

At first I was disappointed that it did not have a 20mm chamber as stated. When I got over that I learned to appreciate it for what it is

*if you look on Smokingpipes don't get to hung up on measurements. When it comes to Peterson they are often cut and paste

Smoked this morning X2 fresh Pegasus
Good to know! Thanks so much for the very helpful info. 😻

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I've passed the first third of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. The last of this bag of Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink.

Rode Titus through the woods earlier and then did a bit of target shooting which I have not been doing this year like I should. I have a target shoot on New Years Day and I'm not up to par.

Smoking some Orlik Golden slice in a Savinelli Tortuga 305 that my son gave me a couple of Christmas's ago. Drinking some Pomegranate green tea.

The Titans are actually winning today against the Chiefs. Of course, the Chiefs are riddled with injuries and most notably, Mahomes is out for the season.

Near the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Getting ready to watch the Steelers-Lions game. Harry the Hairy jumped up on my chair for some attention virtually the moment Sleepy Suzy jumped down to go eat. He's a big fella so I was a little surprised that he laid down on the left arm of my chair while he got rubs and scratches. How he stayed on that arm, I dunno... Right now, he's near my feet with his belly and all four paws in the air.

Expected the chief's offense to suffer but by gosh what happened to the defense 😕

Jazz, I really like Harney and Sons Russian Country. I am glad to see you like it as well. I assume it is a Russian Caravan blend, which I see frequently in the postings. I am a huge fan of Lampsang Souchong which is a component but it is softened by the other leaves. A very "flavorsome" blend. (Loose tea is the way to go, too!)
@CPT Yeah, I've always loved Russian Caravan, and my go-to was the very reasonably priced Stash Caravan loose leaf (pictured), until it was discontinued, unfortunately. 😞

So I was happy to try the Harney, though it seems to have a smaller proportion of Lapsang Souchong compared to the Stash, so not as smokey. It's still very good. What I need to do is get some straight L.S. and blend my own Caravan! 😻 Basically like adding straight Latakia to a tobacco blend ...

The “atmospheric river” that is moving thru the PNW is here. Been raining since midnight and is forecasted to continue until tomorrow late morning.
I’m in the garage smoking some Watch City, Kringle Koncoction in a Peterson Derry 106. A mug of Organic Earl Grey with cardamom.
It’s my second smoke of this Christmas offering. This is definitely making it on the “nice” list.
A wonderfully nuanced blend with some great flavors playing off each other.
I keep thinking of a nice warm, spiced red wine with some honey.
The Izmir Cavendish and Perique proportions combined with the Simply Red
create a smooth, balanced, flavorful Koncoction.

Really like this Kringle blend. Smoked second bowl today. Went back to order more but now out of stock. Snooze you lose. Hopefully they will bring it back next year unchanged.
