Sutliff 507-C in the Peterson House pipe I got from @ashdigger which is the finest pipe I have ever smoked. Every single flavor in the tobacco pops from start to finish every single time. I am doing a comparison study against the Peterson Pub pipe which i smoked tonight with same tobacco. The Pub pipe is the slow smoking sipping champion with its graduated bore but drier and not as sweet, I have been using an aftermarket 9mm stem on the House pipe. Next up will be the House pipe with its original graduated bore stem and condenser. I have a feeling the House pipe will always win but I have to compare to be sure... ya' know ?? ;) :ROFLMAO:

Davidoff Scottish Mixture in a Çelebi meerschaum which arrived today. Drinking Giesen 0% Sauvignon Blanc, which is in a class by itself amongst NA wines.

First time smoking a meer. Different, and enjoyable, experience!

I would have preferred the stem to be as curved as the one in the selling image... it's difficult to prevent the smoke from going up my nose, with this angle.

The beak makes for a comfortable holding position, though.

A small pipe - good for a "dessert bowl" at the end of the evening.

Relaxing after a wonderful giant porterhouse steak and freshly made pinto beans dinner. Dessert was a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream and a few freshly made Belgian milk and dark chocolate cookies. I've a third of a bowl left of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. I took out the trash, did the dishes, emptied the boxes of cat food from Chewy, and helped m'lady feed all the cats except for Tomato the Brave. He was lying on top of a heated cat house and didn't move.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap. The others are outside.

Watering my grass & clover sprouts (a sure sign I’m getting old) while smoking PS 52 in a Stanwell bent billiard, followed by Westminster in a cob. Cobs ain’t much to look at, but they smoke better than many $100 briars, and I’m not scared to drop or burn it. View attachment 439265

Luciano Virgin Sandblast Chubby Dublin (GL Pease/Di Piazza Design 2014). Opened a tin of my favorite RMC Heritage Oxford Street — if you close your eyes and take a sniff, it genuinely feels like a basket full of prunes.

December outside the window — quiet, cold, and unhurried. The kind of weather that slows everything down and gives your thoughts a bit more space.

@RavenBlack Beautiful Meer! Love the animal shapes. Btw, regarding the stem curve, did you see this post? 😻
