My off diet lunch was plenty of pecans and pistachios, a pastrami cheddar cheese pita bread sandwich, a tall stack on a plate of stuffed with rice, meat and lamb grape leaves rolls with a couple of oatmeal raisin cookies and a golden delicious apple. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Molly Danger came to the den for food and play time. Sleepy Suzy got some of that as well. I've been watching old TV Westerns, and have seen one of the best, most ubiquitous character actors, Denver Pyle, in three of the four shows I have seen on two different channels. Durn good actor.

You're absolutely right about actor Denver Pyle..... I have always enjoyed every character that he has played.

Been visiting my Mom for a few days, but no facilities for reducing photo size to within attachment limitations, so no pics for the next few days.

Even so, it’s late afternoon here, currently relaxing on her back porch, watching deer come up out of the woods into her backyard;

It's been a very busy week and sadly, I've had little time to sit and properly enjoy a pipe. Very uncivilized and unrespectable, I know.

I am presently retiring, however, to the kitchen stoop to enjoy the late afternoon sun and a bowl of Charing Cross in a Briarworks C111 Bull Moose. My birds are off doing what they do but they will be coming in soon for the dinner hour.

Hal o the wynd is the inaugural smoke in the Peterson Dark smooth 160th Pat B, it’s smoked great right out the box, I also noticed that the shelf on the PLip was cut more deeper and has more of a shelf which is good maybe Peterson has herd enough about folks complaning.

Well, my wife headed up to Louisville for a few days to visit family, so I am "batchin'" it for a while. After a fairly active day, I settled down with some HU Janneman Flake in a Charatan Lumberman apple. Had some Coconut water to drink. This latest batch has "extra coconut." Does it get any better than that?? Mighty fine.....
