Sutliff 507-C in the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard while shoveling the three inches of heavy snow we got in arctic wind. I only made it through 1/2 a bowl; I'm not as young as I used to be. I only shoveled one of the walkways leaving the other covered in snow hedging my bets as it were, as I don't know what the icing conditions will be tomorrow. Too cold to smoke tonight as windchill is 0-5f and windy. Homemade chicken soup and buttered roll on a cold night.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in an undated (1970s?) unbranded straight paneled sandblasted Tanshell Dunhill second with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Paid twenty bucks for this pipe in 1981. Smokes as well as a “proper” Dunhill. The youthful fella that I was at the time I bought the pipe never thought that I'd own a "real" Dunhill, and that this was the only chance that I'd have to get one. The folly of "intelligent" youthful thinking. :)

Last smoke of the day is year 2016 Sutliff Revelation Match in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII Kingsway (Comoy’s) London Made 61 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. All the cats are inside away from 15 degree weather. I'm not letting them out even though we do have heated cat houses.
