Playing around with some tobacco as I wait for the elevator mechanics to show up for an inspection. This Black Flake is really interesting. There seems to be a lot more to it than I can grasp after only a few bowls. I haven’t looked up the reviews or its components yet but Virginia seems to be the predominant ingredient but I don’t know which varieties. I think perique but it seems to have some burley and maybe Kentucky? Either way I’m liking it more and more each time I smoke it which is always a good thing. Jake Hackert potIMG_6019.jpeg

Part way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for the absent Tomato the Brave. He occasionally is elsewhere when it rains. The rain has turned to light snow. We seldom get snow this early in December so I doubt that it'll amount to much. No walking today for me.

You've been to the track at Mid-Ohio!? That's awesome! Yeah I've been twice, be there for like 4 days watching Qualifying and TransAm and GT races and then Lemans Race. I had an absolute ball both times, probably in my Top 10 best things I've done in life. NASCAR Daytona 500 is another one, I've got to do it twice now too. Totally different experience, both are awesome. I haven't had the pleasure of going to F1 yet, and I haven't followed at all for the past few seasons. Haven't been following any Sport or anything at all lately. I need to find time to get back into watching, I just haven't had the time.
Yes, I have had season tickets in the past, primarily for Indy car and vintage races. I haven't been for some time, though. I have not been to any of the three F1 races in the US. A buddy of mine has been to all three and recommends Las Vegas as the easiest from a spectator's perspective. I might go to one at some point, probably Austin as COTA is the best course of the three. Mid-Ohio is way more affordable, though!
