Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Orlik Golden Sliced in an early 20th century Gordon Special Bruyere 49 apple with a triangular shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

Any thoughts about that vintage OGS? I smoke a lot of the stuff and would love to know how all those years has impacted the flavor profile. That's a lovely pipe.

@Benedict Munsinger Absolutely, I'm really liking these a lot. They truly are a tantalizing combination of flavor and convenience - I've been cutting them in half according to @infectedpsyche 's preferred protocol. So far I've only tried this Antico, but I also have the flavored Hazelnut Toscanello, which I will try soon (when it's not 27 F outside). 😻
I like these ones

Couldn't sleep, so I'm up and half way through this bowl of year 2020 D&R Penhooker in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem. I kept the ferals inside because the temperature was in the 20s. Daisy the Feral Princess snuggled against my legs until I woke up. Molly Danger has quit chasing her out of the bedroom although I would hardly say that they have become friendly toward each other. I think Daisy might if Molly was willing. Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy were snoozin' in the den.

It's just a little smoother with a more matured fruitiness.

Thanks for the compliment on the Gordon pipe. It's a great smoker. I wish I had another one or two by that company.

Very sunny today, but as cold as a wedge! Mid twenties with winds up to 30 mph at times.

Only bowl of the day on Meerschaum Monday is some C&D Pegasus in a Tekin Meer. A diet coke to sip on....

A fine looking Meer good sir. I really like how the silver cap is inlaid, very pleasing to the eye.
