Pipe Dreamer and Star Gazer
Smoking a bowl of mb# Amphora Full, in a MM General, accompanied by a few shots of Knob rye. It's amazing, how the whiskey, makes the cold go to hell, or so I think. My wife went to buy something she forgot at the supermarket. I told her, go ahead, I'll be fine. And she put her hand on my forehead. I wish you a Merry Christmas dinner. May God bless you. First time trying a sample of 10 year old LJ Peretti Yuletide...well, I imagine I'll be trying this at some point today. Been drying it for an hour plus, and it's still just as moist. If I can get it in before the rain, I'll consider this day a success. Looks like it'll be a white Christmas tonight! 😍 🎄

This bowl will go in a Savinelli Mattone 614 faux-Hungarian, and is dedicated to my paternal grandmother, who would be 106 today.

Happy belated Festivus everyone! I got a lot o' PROBLEMS with you people!!!

Sutliff Z50 Black Cordial in a Radice Silk Cut Billiard. I’m quite frankly amazed at how well this stuff smokes. I dried for 30 minutes and it was still a little clumpy, so put it in the microwave for 5 seconds and *chefs kiss* really delightful smoke so far. Lots of smoke, great flavor, zero heat, zero bite… just damn fine stuff all around. Good thing, too, because I might’ve blind bought 1 lb of the stuff.

Kensington in an old Barling Fossil LF. This pipe belonged to a friend that passed away early in the year. A fall sent him to the hospital and then a heart infection finished him off.

Sorry to hear the circumstances of you acquiring that pipe.
Im certain he’d be happy your smoking it and thinking about him.

Thank you. I think of him even seeing the pipe in the rack. After he passed, the family gave the collection to his lifelong friend, also a pipe smoker, with the instruction to pass them out to his close friends. What a beautiful gesture.
