Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink. Watching a lecture about Lizzie Borden.

The soft rounded “shoulder” on the ferrule and the stamping leads me to believe this may be early Republic.
Regardless, it smokes great.

Now smoking Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Spent most of the day splitting kindling. Now smoking 1792 in a 999 spigot before starting dinner.
After finally finalizing my Smokingpipes order to take advantage of their pipe sale (today is the last day), I decided I needed a smoke. Enjoyed Watch City's Strange Magic Flake in a Crown Jewels pot on a cooler day, but with no wind and plenty of sun. Might be my last smoke, and post of the year, so I hope you all have a great New Year's Eve, and a great 2025!

I stumbled upon an estate pipe a few years ago. Bought it and then found out about the history of Thayne Robertson, the long time carver and owner of House of Robertson tobacco store in downtown Boise.
Finding and restoring his pipes is like reviving a unique piece of Boise History.

Early this morning, I smoked a bowl of ABF in my old 1936 171 Bruyere billiard while the mists of the morning clouds surrounded the mountains...
Later I enjoyed a creamy bowl of SG Brown No.4 in a small Group 1 1967 32 F/T shell billiard.
Cleaned a few pipes, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of KBV B.Frog’s Lasso Flek in a 1960s Austrian meerschaum bent apple with a tapered yellow stem. Working on a review of this blend. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Smoking some Granger in this little Pete. Beer.
