Just went out to toss a compressor in the truck, gotta help a friend move a couple trailers tomorrow, and found my truck’s battery kaput.
After my Sentra failed to jump the old 360 Magnum, I dug out the old Craftsman charger my dad probably bought back in the seventies that’s still kicking. Fingers crossed for the morning.
Glad I squished a full bowl of 5Bros in the Ropp J11P for a nightcap when I thought it was just gonna be a walk to the shop.

Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching a special on Bob Uecker.

I inaugurated my new Jensen estate pipe with Ravenwood Hobbit's Leaf.
I really love this pipe! It smokes perfectly, clenches and hangs very comfortably.
I also love Hobbit's Leaf! This is a straight cherry aromatic with no chocolate or other strong competing flavors.
The quality of the tobacco shines through as the cherry topping is very mild with a slight undertone of vanilla and a floral note, most obvious in the retrohale.
The blend burns consistently and slow, it was very pleasant to sit a while and just sip it.
If you enjoy cherry aromatics this could be a great all-day smoke.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I may end the day with this smoke.

I was going to get some sleep, but the ferals are hungry, so while I'm attending to them, I'll smoke a bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This ought do it for me this day.
