Just finished my late afternoon smoke, with my oriental dedicated Ropp J07, an extremely responsive pipe that always gives me some of my best smokes. Loaded it with a loose 2 pack of Sunday Picnic, which gave me the justified "nay" for my homerolled little cigarillo, filled with the same tobacco.

The tobacco was much, much better in the pipe. All of the nuances of orientals were wonderfully discerned in the pipe, and a jumbled potpourri wasted in the cigar, as I figured. Totally an aesthetic/practical personal conclusion based on my attitude towards the two most excellent mediums.

To be continued - new pipe/cigar pairing tomorrow. Picture is just a toss off taken and processed right at my computer just before posting.

Glad I had some Kendal Plug/Black X in a pocket tin. The little Kaywoodie is only a 15-20min smoke.

Fantastic little pipe. A 15-20 minute smoke is all that is needed at times, eh? I have a set of miniatures for that very purpose! Also invaluable for rationing endangered tobacco!
