@Sobrbiker How is this Pete Poker working out for you? Is it a fair substitute for a Short Army?
It’s good, but different. The old Sportsman 87 you see me with often is much closer to the Short Army.
I really think the Short Army’s stem is what makes them so good, with the tapered airway and better plip than any other Pete’s I’ve had (not that that is many. All the modern ones I’ve got I’ve had to chamfer the draft hole in the stem, but as you know, the SA’s stem is something else. They really need to revive that line!

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

After that, I did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. A friend came over, and got my computer working again, but it's old and on it's last legs, so I'll have to get a new one.
