Earlier walking the pooch I enjoyed some Glass Slipper in a little MM Cob. Now, after seeing they’re starting to advertise the ‘23 release, I decided to bust into a jar of ‘21 Cringle Flake. Finicky smoke for a newerbee, but it was this tobacco that cemented my love for the pipe. One night it just all came together in a magical explosion of taste, ceremony and relaxation. I’ll never forget that night. Still working in this restored ‘77 Calich. Elijah’s my wingman.

Irish Seconds are Peterson Pipes that for whatever reason don’t meet QA standards. They’ve been around since the 1890’s in some form or another and are currently sold on Smoking Pipes EU site.

Thanks, yes, I know what seconds are, my question was more specific to what markings differentiate this pipe from a regular K&P? I’ve just restored a 1947-48 K&P, so only now getting to know the historical markings.

Strangely it was one of my first pipe tobaccos, right after the crappy aros, lol, I love that stuff.
Heck yeah! It was my first online tobacco purchase once I was running low on nightcap and EMP. I kinda felt like an ass but I completely disregarded the aro suggestions when I got my first pipe and picked EMP and Night Cap for my first blends lol I don't regret it lol

Right? It's unmistakable.

BTW, I like Laurel Heights quite a bit. But it took me nearly the entire 1st tin to really "get" it.
That's interesting...I've never had Fillmore, but it's advertised on Smoking Pipes as a VaPer. TR says Latakia, and @JimInks says Latakia, so I believe that for sure. I've thought about the blend a bit in the past, wonder why not advertise the Latakia?
