Finished work for the day, smoked a few bowls of tobacco, fed my cats and Daisy the Feral Princess, and nearing the last quarter of this bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I expect some of the other ferals to show up before long. Going to download a few cat photos that I took today while I was out walking.

What a great lunting pipe!
I'm sure it would be, but I'm very protective of some of my pipes, and this is one of them. The pipes that mean the most to me never see the outdoors unless I'm smoking one of them when the mail truck arrives. I am overly cautious, but I just feel that way.

Same way with amber stem pipes. When I smoke one, I generally stay seated in my den chair. I take great extra care with them.

Shy Stripesy made a rare day time visit. She was afraid of me as always so I didn’t go outside. Luckily for her, there was food on two plates, and after she ate most of it, Abner the Eager showed up. He stared at her, licked his lips while she finished eating, and when Stripesy was done, she walked slowly and cautiously around Abner to the side of the deck and took off running. Usually, Abner would chase her, but he was too hungry so I brought him some dry food. This is the third time I’ve seen them interact, and there’s no doubt in my mind that they’ve known each other for quite some time. I think both of them live up the street behind the woods of my house which extends to the neighbor’s yard.

@PaulRVA The classic car in the picture looks like Doc Hudson in Cars (The Fabulous Hudson Hornet)!
The Hudson Hornet was an awesome car. I had a friend who had one 30 years ago. He totally restored it back to original and then improved it. If you opened the hood you could stand in the engine bay and work on it. That picture is a 50 Ford Coupe and my Father in 1953 in St Louis at my Grandfather’s house when he returned from Korea. Hope all is finding you well @halfdan and your keeping the Clay’s 🔥 burning.
