May I ask: is that the long stem or short version? And when you clench, does it hang comfortably?

This is the long version. Clinch is really comfortable. I bought one of the short fuse Cannonballs but nothing beats the original.

@eljimmy I'd like to try it in my clays but I'm in the UK and can't order from America due to customs. I'm told it would suit English Civil War re-enactments (Sealed Knot etc).

Its good stuff. There has to be a shop out there that can ship to you.

Getting ready to smoke PF 6 in this new Eltang snail. I’d say it’s the centerpiece in my collection at this point. I have another snail, but there are obvious grades of snail that aren’t marked. His highest is marked as “snail M” M for masterpiece I think. This is not that, which shows how high his standards are!

Oh man, that is surprising, you seem to have all the best carvers! You must activate your PAD and get an Eltang freehand! I’ve heard the basics are great smokers!

Appreciate the info. I think one of those two may be the next acquisition, but am having a difficult time deciding which one (grain / finish depending) to go for, as they appear to be so similar. Didnt mention earlier, but the finish on that is awesome!
