Neither would I. My girlfriend at the time bought it from her local Tinderbox. The date symbols are confusing, and until the advent of the internet, I didn't understand what they meant. I've never seen date symbols on another Caminetto, but I suppose they must have done it for a short time for some reason. If it weren't for the mustache logo, I never would have guessed that to be a Caminetto.
Wow, cool pipe. Looks like a Bringham on steroids! Any idea how they get that finish? Looks lit it’s been shot with a .410 shotgun from distance.Tormentoso from Emerson Southern Forged in a Regina Scarlatta.

Thanks! I love the dark stain and camo stem. I took it on a turkey hunt and my buddies had a good time giving me hell about a camo pipe.Ive always thought about buying a cammo Sav , but the pictures online never gave me the warm and fuzzies…that pipe looks great. It’d be a good camping / walking pipe.
Stayed away from the Cringle Flake but did buy into this one. Glad to hear it has some promise as it’s going away for some time in the cellar.C&D Anthology a Rubio. This has some promise, needs a few more days to breath.
