@ThermionicScott Nice pipe and good tobacco choice; I really like Gawith blends in clay. Can you imagine how many clay pipes have been smoked with Gawith tobacco over the years???
Going to get some loose Gawith Hoggarth for the Sealed Knot Battle of Nantwich next year. Might get some twist or flake, maybe 10-20g of each. Need to make sure I don't run out on the day! Some say if I was re-enacting the clay pipe era I'd have a pipe stuck in my mouth all the time

Having some Elizabethan in a Marxman Super Briar. Really happy I revisited this blend because I smoked the first tin before I really nailed my cadence and what not.
I have a tin of Elizabethan from '21. I maybopen it soon. How would you describe the strength of the blend.

I think would medium or just under that. Like 2 or 2.5 out of 5. Satisfying but you don't feel the nicotine side effects while smoking. Maybe a little stronger than Escudo to compare to a similar tasting blend.
