I found my tin of Capstan Blue which had three flakes left in it. Apparently it had dried out ... as in crispy and petrified ... I put one in my Barontini Gran Duc and boy was that an eye opener ! Very strong and harsh ... could still taste the flavors but just super intensified. I think I prefer it a bit moister. But ... I am awake now ! Enjoy the day !
Good day all! Starting by finishing a tin of Savinelli Brunello Flake in a small Savinelli Autograph sandblast Burl Fan with plateau rim and tapered stem. Lovely smoke.
Amphora Kentucky in a Washington cob, finally getting around to trying Amphora, not bad once i dried it out. Not sure it will replace 5 Brothers as my go to work smoke though.
Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
First time folded some S.G. Bothy Flake in the small tall bowl of the Jensen Chimney. Some Whiskey, some Latakia, Virginia tangy smoke, not to bad. Isn’t it an aromatic ? Almost not.
