Good afternoon all. This mornings smoke was a new one to me and one which was mentioned in a Virginia chat on here. So whilst checking cows and pasture it was Sutliff 515 in the Sav 320 and I have to say I really liked it and rather than try to compare it to bygone tobacco blends I looked for it’s own merits and there are plenty. This tobacco is a bit like Stokkebye’s cube cut in so much that it’s a simple blend, honest without the mishmash that some blends bring. I shall be acquiring more and just letting it sit in Mylar or glass for 5 or 7 years, I’ll wager it’s worth the wait.
I‘m now smoking the same blend in a Castello #33 with equal success.

Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum.
