Afternoon Smoke: McConnell Oriental Square in a vintage 1960's/70's Andreas Bauer Oom Paul meerschaum. As always, accompanied by my trusty Rodgers of Sheffield pipe knife and 1950's Nimrod Commander pipe lighter.
Just finished smoking Country Squire P.S. Blend in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend. Now, it's lunch time!
Smoking Amphora Burley in a Sav. Coconut, cup of Irish Breakfast Tea, milk and sugar.

Cult Blood Red Moon in a Missouri Meerschaum: Country Gentleman. (Insert grizzly tough man's voice) I didn't have my lighter with me today, I had to improvise with the torch. You have to have some skill with one of these to get your charring light without burning up your pipe. But when you've been smoking a pipe for as long as I have, everything about pipe smoking comes easy. Carhartt, as rugged as the men who wear it.
Enjoyed a bunch of slices of cinnamon raisin French toast, and am half way through the last of this sample of year 2020 Peter Heinrichs Golden Sliced in a smooth straight brown pre-transition Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite saddle stem. Gold Star Panama, neat, is my drink. Can't think of a better coffee to savor.
I'm with you. I'm constantly tilting the pipe to direct the smoke where I want it, and the system doesn't really do anything in my findings.
GLP Windjammer in my Stanwell 224. Not the greatest since I was walking my spaz of a yellow lab that cannot help but zig-zag race from one place to pee to the next. Damn near burned out my pipe trying to keep up.
Did a second set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Now smoking Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Packing a bowl of Golden Ash in a Royal House. One of the pipes I found at an estate sale. Nice open draw. I'll pair it with some Gentleman Jack.
Stoved Luxury Navy Flake from a Cristian Galeazzi billiard. 
Dueling Falcons today... comparing MB Mixture Scottish Blend with McConnell Scottish Blend (and decaf). Both pipes thoroughly cleaned, new filter rings, and both with billiard bowls. Tin notes: MB has sweet, smooth, gentle aroma. McConnell comes right out with Latakia. The MB was a rougher cut, and darker in the bowl. The McConnell has finer cut, slightly lighter color. Tore the MB up a little more before packing. McConnell straight in no problem. Lighting MB first, will see how it goes..!
