Now smoking year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 187 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
I’m enjoying Blockade Runner in a Falcon paired with a hot cup of English tea on a mild Virginia afternoon off. Blue skies, golden sunshine, and the company of man’s best friend have me grateful for life’s many blessings. Cheers.
Having a tasty bowl of Watch City Nor’Easter on a damp, chilly, and windy day, which I guess is fitting.
The jury is still out on both the system and the P-lip. I found myself tilting the pipe up to get the stream where I’m accustomed. As for the system, the reservoir was dry post smoke, so no need for it. What I disliked was the inability to pass a pipe cleaner while smoking. That being a result of the bend and in part the P-lip. Nice pipe though.

The P-lip took a little getting used to. I don't get a lot of moisture in the reservoir unless I'm smoking something that is wetter than normal. If I need to put a pipe cleaner through during a smoke I just pull the stem, run the cleaner through both stem and stummel then put the stem back in. The systems and P-lip seem to be a love or hate item. We'll see if it grows on you over time.
A Comoy's 2nd (Norwich) Yachtsman stuffed with some 2008 Orlik Golden Sliced for my after lunch smoke - coffee is a nice medium roast Kenyan.

Good day all! Started with comfortable Carter Hall in an Upshall P Lovatt. Following up on this cold overcast Florida day with more of the stout St. Bruno RR in a Wilke smooth Billiard with pinch-waist stem size 4.

@JimInks are you noticing any particular age-related differences between a new MB Scottish Mixture and this aged a couple years? any characterizing you can offer for longer aging for this blend? i have a new lb bag and considering what kind of aging I might intend. any thoughts appreciated.!
Did a set of walking reps, and am almost finished smoking year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching Mad Dog Russo.
It's mellowed a little, but there's no loss of flavor. I encourage aging this blend because it becomes more well rounded as it matures. You may lose a notch or two of strength with long term aging, but I like what I gain.
Randy Wiley handmade USA 02,Galleon, 33…smoking Ken Byron Ventures Burley Morning. This pipe is a workhorse, I never babied this pipe, used it and abused it 20 years ago when I bought it. Now I cherish this pipe one of the most consistent good smokers I own. I appreciate a great pipe now more than I did 20-30 years ago.
