I love it when you can stretch out the celebrations.
Played 2 sets of mostly Christmas Jazz at the local cigar club tonight accompanied by a stupendously good bass player. Great crowd. Possibly my last playing gig of 2022, which is just fine. One more week of teaching, then 2-weeks of holiday. Woohoo!

Going to have Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Ennerdale Flake in The Pipe (Bulldog version), made of phenolic resin with a pyrolytic graphite sleeve and nylon stem—a perfect use for this much derided, oddball pipe.
Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City Beta Test VBur in a straight smooth brown post-WW2 LHS Purex Superfine 74 Canadian with a metal screw-in tenon and a tapered black vulcanite stem.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a straight brown sandblasted post-WWII family era Sasieni “Canadian” London Made with a sterling silver band with a tapered black vulcanite twin bore stem. This will end my smoking day.
Undoubtedly a great value pipes,which smoke comparable to my few Dunhills, disclaimer: based on my experience dimensions given on their online site are somewhat inaccurate meaning pipes which I bought from there were a bit shorter length what I was expecting,moreover, be prepared to modify the button part of the stem since that leave something to be desired, also the stem alignment may not always be 100% satisfactory
