Half way through this bowl from a freshly opened tin of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Found a pipe in a small antique shop, it was extremely dirty, I spent 40 usd and more than 3 hours cleaning (forget to take the photo before cleaning). After scraping off a layer of aromatic cake and cleaning it with alcohol, the current situation is satisfactory, and I will smoke a bowl later.
The nomenclature stamped on the left shank flank is, kaywoodie, super grain, imported briar,The right side of the shank stamped a number, 08B.
Can someone tell me if $40 is a good price without considering my labor costs?

The birdseye on that looks great!

Sometimes the “value” ascribed to Kaywoodies has to with what period they’re from—regardless, you have a great looking pipe.
